The **Data Global Hebrew** community is pleased invite you on Tuesday, **February 21**, 2023. In this session we will continue the series of lectures on the new features added to SQL Server 2022.

📌 **Topic**: (Much More) Intelligent Query Processing in SQL Server 2022

**⏳ Abstract**:

The Intelligent Query Processing (IQP) feature family includes features with broad impact that improve the performance of existing workloads with minimal implementation effort to adopt. Microsoft started to invest in this feature family in SQL Server 2017, with features such as Memory Grand Feedback and Adaptive Joins, and it's getting better and better with every new version released. All features are also available in Azure SQL.
In SQL Server 2022, Microsoft added several new exciting features, and also enhanced some of the existing features. We will cover different types of query processing feedback, including feedback persistence. We will also look at Parameter Sensitive Plan Optimization, which is an important new feature to handle common parameter sniffing issues.
